What this article covers

Member-count and related Discord member products depend on the same join path as boost delivery: accounts must successfully enter your server through a valid invite. If members are not appearing, server restrictions are the most common cause.

2

What member products are — and are not

Member-count products may use automated or managed accounts to increase visible member totals. They are not sold as actively participating human community members.

Profiles may include names and avatars, but that does not make them real community participants. Do not represent these products to your community as organic human growth.

Important

Vanta does not claim customers will not notice automated or managed accounts. Set accurate expectations with your moderators and staff.

Common causes members do not join

  • Apply to Join requiring approval for each account
  • Membership screening blocking or queuing joins
  • Anti-raid, CAPTCHA, or verification bots removing accounts
  • Expired, restricted, or out-of-uses invite links
  • Automated removal rules targeting new accounts
  • Rate limits during large orders or high platform volume
4

What you should check

  1. 1Create a fresh invite with long or unlimited expiry and enough uses.
  2. 2Disable or relax Apply to Join during delivery.
  3. 3Review membership screening and clear pending queues.
  4. 4Check anti-raid and moderation bot logs for kicks and bans.
  5. 5Confirm the invite targets the correct server.
  6. 6Allow several minutes for larger orders — do not assume failure instantly.
5

Step-by-step troubleshooting

  1. 1Fix invite and server settings using the checklist above.
  2. 2Note your current member count before and after the expected delivery window.
  3. 3Gather your invoice or order number from https://vantaboosts.com/account/orders.
  4. 4Open live chat with the invoice, product name, and working invite.
  5. 5Describe what you see in member list and audit logs.
  6. 6Follow support guidance before reordering.
6

What not to do

  • Do not tell your community these are guaranteed real people.
  • Do not run aggressive anti-raid modes during delivery without expecting join failures.
  • Do not place duplicate orders while the first is still processing.
  • Do not publicly post invites meant for fulfillment.
7

When to contact support

Contact support if members still do not appear after you adjust invite and security settings, or if your order status shows an error.

  • Invoice or order number
  • Working invite
  • Product and quantity ordered
  • Screenshots of member count and relevant bot logs if available
