Overview
Vanta blocks self-referrals — visiting your own link while signed into the same account does not count as a click or commission. Test links in a private window while logged out.

What you should check
- 1Never complete a purchase through your own ref link on the same account.
- 2Test tracking in incognito/private mode while logged out of Vanta.
- 3Share your link with others — commission requires a different customer's paid order.
- 4Self-referral fraud attempts can suspend your referral profile.
- 5See referral-tracking for legitimate attribution rules.
3
What not to do
- Do not submit duplicate orders while waiting for support review.
- Do not share passwords, Nitro tokens, seed phrases, or full card numbers in chat or public channels.
- Do not remove boosting or delivery accounts before support finishes reviewing the order.
