How reseller keys work

Complete guide to creating, sharing, and redeeming single-use reseller keys — balance deduction, validation, fulfillment, and security practices.

What reseller keys are

Reseller keys are single-use redemption codes tied to a specific product and quantity. Resellers generate keys from panel balance and sell them to their own customers at a price they choose. When a customer redeems a key, fulfillment runs against the product attached to that key.

Good to know

Reseller access fees and key expiration rules need owner confirmation before publishing exact terms. Confirm current policy in the reseller panel or reseller Discord before quoting customers.

Full 15-step redemption flow

    Reseller signs into the reseller panel at https://api.vantaboosts.com/reseller.

    Reseller adds funds to their panel balance.
  3. 3
    Reseller selects a supported product.
  4. 4
    Reseller selects quantity or duration for that product.
  5. 5
    The system verifies the reseller has sufficient balance.

    The reseller cost is deducted or reserved from panel balance.

    The system generates a unique redemption key.
  8. 8
    Reseller delivers the key privately to their customer.

    Customer opens the official Vanta redemption page at https://clients.boostbot.cloud/.

    Customer enters the redemption key.

    Customer submits required fulfillment information — such as a Discord server invite.

    The system validates that the key exists, is unused, is not expired, the product is active, and the reseller account is active.

    Fulfillment begins for the attached product.

    The key is marked redeemed and cannot be used again.

    Redemption is recorded for reseller and admin review.

Single-use behavior and key statuses

  • Each key is unique and intended for one successful redemption.
  • Unused keys remain available until redeemed or until expiration if your product supports expiry — confirm current expiration behavior with support.
  • Redeemed keys cannot be reused, edited, or transferred to another customer.
  • Invalid, expired, or already-used keys fail validation at step 12.
  • Failed redemption after validation may still require support review depending on error type.

Balance deduction and reseller pricing

Generating a key reserves or deducts the reseller’s cost from panel balance based on the product and quantity selected. Resellers set their own customer-facing price and keep the difference. Vanta does not control what resellers charge end customers.

Security protections

The key system is designed to reduce fraud and accidental double delivery. Only describe features that match your panel experience:

  • Duplicate redemption attempts on the same key are blocked after successful use.
  • Keys are scoped to the issuing reseller context — cross-reseller access is not supported.
  • Insufficient balance prevents new key generation.
  • Redeemed keys cannot be edited to change product or destination.
  • Keys should be long and unguessable — never post full keys in public chats, tickets, or screenshots.
  • Simultaneous redemption attempts should resolve to a single successful fulfillment without double-spend.

Important

Never post full redemption keys publicly. Anyone who redeems first consumes the key.

What customers need to redeem

  • The full key from the reseller — via private message or secure channel
  • A valid Discord server invite when the product requires server delivery
  • Correct fulfillment fields shown on the redemption page
  • Patience during fulfillment — same invite and server-setting rules apply as retail orders

What not to do

  • Do not publish keys in Discord servers, marketplaces, or support tickets.
  • Do not assume expired or used keys can be reset without admin review.
  • Do not promise retail warranty terms to end customers without reading reseller responsibilities.
  • Do not share reseller panel credentials with customers.

When to contact support

Resellers should contact support through reseller channels when keys fail validation, balance looks wrong, fulfillment errors occur, or a customer reports non-delivery after redemption.

  • Masked or full key only in private support — never in public channels
  • Reseller account email
  • Product, quantity, and redemption timestamp
  • Customer invite used if delivery failed
